By printing to a single print queue using UniPrint's UPD, the user's compressed print job is encrypted and stored on a holding server (the Bridge Server). The user then goes to an authentication device (the UniPrint vPad) and identifies him/herself either through a two factor authentication process or simply entering his/her corporate credentials and release the print job to the selected printer in the proximity.
Archiving & User Print Statistic Module - UniPrint Infinity now offers archiving and statistic modules as an additional measure to keep a printing log on your entire enterprise. With archiving enabled all print jobs in your environment can be archived as compressed PDF's in a database for either security or record keeping. Data captured are: User Information: domain name, user ID; Print Job Information: Printer name, profile, page count, copies, date, job name; Other information: Printer ID, printer name and IP address, application name.

Two factor Authentication process - Implementing two factor authentication using UniPrint Infinity is rather simple. The UniPrint™ vPad is designed to be fully compatible with any smart card readers, and can incorporate RFID, HID or FOB devices already employed by organizations. The user can then create a secure alphanumeric pin as part of the process to release his/her print jobs. "Something you know and something you have."
